Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
VALE ROAD 1. 1746 (North Side) Tunbridge Wells Central Railway Station. Up Side TQ 5839 SW 2/323 II 2. Built before 1845. This consists of a central portion of 2 storeys red brick. Hipped slate roof with paired bracket cornice. Long and short quoins. 7 sashes. The ground floor has 5 round-headed windows and stringcourse. Double doorcase with pilasters. On each side is a portion of 1 storey. 3 sashes on the left side, 5 on the right. A wooden and glass verandah supported on cast iron columns runs the full length of the front.
