HAWKHURST HIGH STREET TQ 73 SW (north side)
9/347 Lea Farm GV II House. C18, reusing earlier timber, extended early C20. Timber framed and weather-boarded with plain tiled roof with red brick to return elevations. Two storeys with roof half-hipped to right and stack at end left. Two 3-light wooden casements on first floor, 3 on ground floor, that to end right in added bay. Ribbed plank door to centre left in trellised porch with flat hood. Catslide out- shot and late C20 single storey hipped extension to rear. Frame and inglenook interior of late character.
