Summary
A Homestead moat is located at Swanton Court in the east of Sevington parish. The moat is complete except for a section of the north east arm and remains water-filled and in good condition. The house of Swanton Court itself dates to the mid 18th century and is visible on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map of c.1861.
