BENENDEN TQ82SW STANDEN STREET 1350-0/3/100 (East side) 20/06/67 Little Standen (Formerly Listed as: STANDEN STREET (East side) Standen Street Cottages) II House, at one time 3 cottages. C16 or earlier timber-framed building refaced in early C19. Ground floor red brick with grey headers on stone plinth, 1st floor weatherboarded. Steeply pitched tiled roof with late C16 brick chimneystack. 2 storeys; 4 windows. C20 casements and C20 weatherporch.

Little Standen was identifed as medieval during a survey of the medieval houses of Kent. It is marked on the Ordnance Survey historic maps of c.1858-1940. No further information was available due to a previously incomplete record entry.

Timber framed house with a surviving formerly open 2-bay hall and upper end bay. The lower end including a lower end partition was rebuilt in the 17th century. (2)
