Plan: East facing. Lobby entrance plan, 3 rooms wide, the 2 left hand rooms heated by back-to-back fireplaces in an axial stack. Exterior: 2 storeys and attic. Roof half-hipped at left end, hipped at right end; stack with staggered shafts of handmade brick. Asymmetrical 3-window front with a C19 plank front door to the lobby entrance to left of centre with a C20 gabled porch on timber posts. 2- and 3-light C19 or early C20 casements, 2-panes per light. The left return has one C20 window to each floor including an attic window.
Interior: The hall, in the centre has exposed joists and some replaced beams. Open fireplace with brick jambs and a chamfered lintel. The crossbeam marking the former party wall with the right end room is re-used and includes sockets for a mullioned window. Exposed carpentry to the right hand room, also including some replaced timber. The left hand room is plastered. On the first floor the wall-framing survives with wall posts with formed jowls and one large straight brace on the rear wall. C17 doors survive on the first floor which preserves wall plaster and exposed crossbeams and joists.
Roof: Clasped purlin roof construction. The purlins are truncated on either side of the stack suggesting a former smoke bay.
