Monument record TR 03 SE 6 - St Leonard's Church (Site of)
Summary
The church at Hurst has been ruinous since 1530. It was apparently destroyed by fire, as charred remains and burnt tiles were found when the site was partially uncovered some years ago. A solitary gravestone, nearly buried in earth, is all that remains to mark the churchyard at TR 07653457 and there is a solitary uninscribed grave slab.
