The following text is from the original listed building designation:
THE PANTILES 1. 1746 (North West Side) No 2 TQ 5838 NW 1/294 20.5.52. II GV 2. Mid Cl9. 3 storeys stuccoed. Wide eaves cornice. 2 sashes on the Pantiles elevation. 3 on the Nevill Street elevation, with some glazing bars intact, set in stone architraves. Shop front with coupled Tuscan half columns. Nos 2 to 28 (even) and Nos 38 to 72 (even) form a group.
