Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. CUMBERLAND WALK 1746 No 6 TQ 5838 NW 1/18 20.5:52. II GV 2. Probably designed by the Brighton architect, Amon Henry Wilds circa 1830. 2 storeys and semi-basement stuccoed, the ground floor rusticated and above the ground floor grooved in imitation of masonry. Modillion eaves cornice. Cornice above ground floor which is raised above the level of the Walk. 3 square-headed windows with pointed heads to the upper half of the sashes and hood moulds over with glazing bars intact. Iron balconettes to ground floor windows. Porch up 8 steps with handrail. Nos 6 to 9 (consec) and wall in front of No 7 form a group.
