The following text is from the original listed building designation:

GARDEN STREET 1. 1746 (South West Side) TQ 5839 NE 6/189 17.12.73 Nos 22 and 24 II GV 2. A mid C19 pair, possibly by Decimus Burton. 2 storeys. The front elevation is of Tunbridge Wells ashlar, the side elevation is of rubble. Hipped slate roof. 1 sash each with glazing bars intact. Simple doorcase with rectangular fanlight on side elevation. Nos 6 to 24 (even) form a group.
