The following text is from the original listed building designation:
GOUDHURST CHURCH ROAD TQ 7237-7337 (south side)
15/126 Sundial about 30 metres north east of Church of St Mary GV II Sundial. Dated 1801. Stone with brass plate. Stone platform with vase shaped stem bearing brass plaque. The plaque, inscribed with scrolls etc and date 1801, and High Welch, Humphrey Wicken Churchwardens. The gnomon is missing.
