Monument record TR 04 NE 5 - Possible Roman foundations, Crundale church

Summary

In 1909 possible Roman foundations were found at Crundale church in the form of arch-shaped brickwork covering a "Water tank". Reports have indicated that remains were found in 1908 during the digging of graves in Crundale churchyard. Whether these reports are the same discovery or two seperate finds is uncertain.
