TQ 64 SW PEMBURY OLD CHURCH ROAD
5/407 Hartniep headstone approx 3m south west of the porch of the Old Church of St Peter GV II
Headstone. Dated 1727 in memory of Thomas Hartniep. Upright sandstone slab standing approx 400mm high. The front is recessed. The shaped curvilinear head is inscribed with crossbones. The inscription below in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering records the death of Thomas Hartniep in 1727.
