The following text is from the original listed building designation:
BENENDEN TQ73SE NINEVEH LANE 1350-0/2/83 The Forest 20/06/67 GV II House, formerly farmhouse. Late C16 lobby entrance house refenestrated in C20. Timber-framed in square panels with plastered infill on sandstone plinth. Half-hipped modern tiled roof with central late C16 ribbed brick chimneystack. Outshut to rear. 2 storeys and attics in gable end: 3 windows. C20 casements. Central doorcase with flat hood on brackets. Interior not seen.
