Mews building in process of conversion to housing, Early C19, architect
Decimus Burton and part of the Calverley Park development.
One of 2 almost identical pavilions with slightly later stabling behind.
Red brick with grey headers, but front stuccoed and with slate roofs.
No. 35 has stuccoed front with pediment with oval blank, full height Doric
pilasters and band between floors. 1st floor 6 pane sash and modern window
to ground floor. Right side elevation has 1 cambered blank and 9 paned
sashes. Ground floor has 4 cambered blanks. To rear is a 2 storey range
of stabling of red brick with grey headers. 1st floor has tripartite sashes
and loading door. Ground floor has 3 cambered openings with plank doors
and fanlights above. Left side modern door. Rear elevation has 5 pilasters,
3 window openings and a later C19 extension ON ground floor, not of special
interest.
