The following text is from the original listed building designation:
MOUNT EPHRAIM 1. 1746 (South East Side) No 37 TQ 5839 NW 3/260 II GV 2. Circa 1830. 3 storeys stuccoed. Slate roof. 2 sashes with glazing bars intact set in moulded architraves. The 1st floor has 1 french window and 1 3-light bay. Later shopfront. Included for group value. Nos 29 to 37 (odd) form a group.
