The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SANDHURST TQ72NE CONGHURST ROAD 1350-0/5/191 Nightingale Cottage II Formerly known as: Little Conghurst CONGHURST ROAD. Cottage. Probably C17. Timberframed building refronted in early C19. Exterior now clad in brickwork on ground floor and tile hung with bell-cast to 1st floor. Half-hipped tiled roof and off central brick chimneystack. 2 storeys and attics in gable end; 2 casements. Central doorcase with pedimented hood on brackets and plank door.
