The following text is from the original listed building designation:
BENENDEN TQ83SW WALKHURST ROAD 1350-0/3/149 (East side) 20/06/67 Coggers II* House. Late C15 open hall-house restored C20. Timber-framed with plaster infilling, the 1st floor of the north front jettied with brick ground floor. Steeply pitched tiled roof with gablets and off central brick chimneystack. Early C20 mullioned windows. C20 doorcase to traditional design. Left side ground floor has early C19 brickwork and Invicta firemark. Interior contains roll-moulded dais beam and spere truss to screen. Late C16 spine beam to inserted hall floor. Octagonal crown post with 4 head braces and ogee arched bracing above tie beam. Pargetted decoration to upper chamber walls. Arched tie beam to upper principal chamber. Original wide floorboards. Original diamond mullioned windows to rear.

Description from record TQ 83 SW 25:
A timber-framed hall house of late 15th century date is located at Coggers near Benenden. The area is marked as Little Walkhurst on the 1st and 2nd edition Ordnance Survey maps (1858-1898), but known as Coggers on the 3rd edition (1905-1922). The house was restored in the 20th century.
End jetty house, jettied at both ends with a formerly open 2-bay hall. (4)
