GOUDHURST TATTLEBURY CORNER TQ 7237-7337 (south side)
15/273 Tattlebury and Little 20.6.67 Tattlebury (formerly listed as No 1 Tattlebury) GV II House, now house pair. C16. Timber framed and clad with red brick and weather boarding to first floor, with tile hung gables and plain tiled roof.. Lobby entry plan of four framed bays. Two storeys and garret with half-hipped roof and central moulded and capped stack cluster. Four leaded window casements and small central light on 1st floor, and 5 wooden casements on ground floor, that to left in outshot. Plank and stud door with flat hood to left and fine cross- beamed panelled door to centre. Catslide outshot to rear, extended and project- ing to rear left, and naot carried to rear of end right bay. Interior: full frame visible (Little Tattlebury only inspected), with small panel framing tongue-stopped chamfered beams, inglenook, and queen post roof.
