The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SANDHURST TQ72NE SPONDEN ROAD 1350-0/5/253 (West side) Honey Cottage II House. C17 or earlier timberframed building refronted in early C19. Clad in weatherboarding with steeply pitched hipped tiled roof with gablet and off central brick chimneystack. 2 storeys; 4 windows. Casement windows. Simple doorcase with flat hood and C20 door. Weatherboarded lean-to addition to right hand side.
