TR 086486 Crundale. Listed as a possible medieval deserted village. (1) Crundale, possible deserted medieval village. (2) A deserted church site or an isolated church does not prove the existence of a medieval village. Therefore in most cases there is nothing to prove that there was a medieval village at the sites in question. (3) (For St Mary's Church, Crundale, see TR 04 NE 18)
