GOUDHURST LONDON ROAD (north side) 8/209 Stonecrouch 8.6.86 II House and shop. C15, extended C16 and C18 and heavily restored late C20. Timber framed and exposed with plaster infill, and extended with red brick and tile hung range. Plain tiled roofs. Framed range to left, with small panel frame. 1 on stone base of 2 storeys with garret; stack clusters to top and to right with 6 two-light mullioned windows on 1st floor and 3 four-light on ground floor, with boarded door to right in four centred arched doorway. Mullioned windows and boarded door to left return. Two storey and attic block to right, on plinth,with fascia board to let floor, wooden eaves cornice to hipped roof with stack to right and 3 flat roofed dormers. Regular fenestration of 4 glazing bar sashes on each floor and central panelled door with rectangular fanlight and flat hood on brackets. Single storey block to end right with gabled roof, plinth and English bond brickwork with 2 wooden casements. Timber framed range to rear, with exposed frame with plaster infill, with end jetty on brackets; hipped roof with gablets.
