Hall house, now house, once public house. C15 with C18 and C20 alterations. Timber-framed and clad in red brick on ground floor and tile-hung on first floor. Plain tiled roof, hipped to right with end stack to left and small projecting end stack to right. Hall house with storeyed end to south only. Two storeys; irregular 3-window first floor and 2-window ground floor, and single window in catslide extension to left. Catslide roof to rear with large hipped C20 extension in centre of roof. Main entrance now in this extension. Interior: Much heavy framing visible. Original dais beam in situ on south side of drawing room. Crown-post collar-purlin roof with large arch-braced truss.
