Monument record TR 04 NW 14 - Early medieval inhumation burials

Summary

Two early medieval inhumation burials were found at Boughton Aluph in 1719-20. With the two Anglo-Saxon male skeletons was found a large iron sword, a conical shield boss and a penannular brooch or bracelet. It is uncertain where these finds are now located and no further information about their discovery could be found.
