On the N side of the road bridge over the Military Canal, opposite the station for the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway. (3) The pillbox referred to above (Source 1) was not visible on aerial photographs viewed as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP. The pillbox is located in an area of dense foliage, but is marked on the recent Ordnance Survey Mastermap map (2010).
