A World War Two pillbox at Hawkinge Airfield, Hawkinge, Kent, TR 2190 3935. The type of the pillbox is not specified in the Defence of Britain record. The record states that it was built between 1940-1941. The condition of the monument is stated to be "unknown". The Defence of Britain record gives a book as the source of the record: this is Bennett, D 1977: "A Handbook of Kents Defences", no page number given. (1-3)
