Type 22 pillbox. No. 61.Pillbox.
Type 22 pillbox of variant form, with covered guarded entrance and reverse Y-shaped blast wall. Bolts fitted below embrasures for vertical wood shelf supports. Wood-shuttered interior and exterior. Situated on NE side of Canal with field of fire E across Canal, guarding N/S road crossing of Canal. 5 x medium embrasures: 1 x small entrance embrasure. Identification no.61. with PLAN drawn on form.
Type FW3/22 pillbox, concrete-faced. West of Warehorne on bank of Royal Military Canal. (1-2)
