Full Description
Type 22 pillbox. No. 63.Type 22 pillbox of variant form, with covered guarded entrance and brick Y-shaped blast wall; bolts fitted below embrasures for vertical wood shelf supports. Wood shuttered interior and exterior. Situated on N side of Canal with field of fire S across Canal defending rail bridge. Identification no.63. 5 x medium embrasures and 1 x small entrance embrasure. With PLAN drawn on form.
Type FW3/22 pillbox, concrete-faced. The exterior blast wall at the entrance has fallen. At Tinton Manor Farm, Warehorne on Royal Military Canal. (1)
