Low concrete pillbox, with 2 embrasures, for defence of Penshurst airfield. Concrete steps down into pillbox. Five-sided pillbox, with 2 embrasures.Non-standard design pillbox. Situated on elevated ground with field of fire N towards hamlet of Charcott, protecting E/W road (B2027). with PLAN drawn on form. At Chiddingstone Causeway, in field to E of footpath that runs from St. Luke's Church to Charcott. (1)
