Hexagonal pillbox with brick shuttering. 7 embrasures. Grass on roof. [This pillbox marks the W junction with the N-S GHQ Line]. Standard type 24 pillbox, brick-shuttered, situated on NE side of River Eden. Field of fire S down the Eden valley. Brick blast wall inside. No shelf supports. Water inside pillbox. with PLAN drawn on form. Close to the wood, The Grove, off footpath from Vexour Bridge - about 50 feet from River Eden. (1)
