Summary
Rectangular Second World War reinforced concrete anti-tank gun emplacement for 6-pounder anti-tank gun. Good condition. At King's Ferry Bridge crossing to the Isle of Sheppey, to the East of the A249 at the junction of the new railway and the road where the track curves under the road.

Full Description
This pillbox is similar to a type 28A other than the main gun embrasure being small and set at approx. waist height. The pillbox contains a second compartment containing 2 gun positions. Rectangular anti-tank gun emplacement for 6-pr. anti-tank gun. Good condition. At King's Ferry Bridge crossing to the Isle of Sheppey, to the E of the A249 at the junction of the new railway and the road where the track curves under the road. (1)
