The Ship public house, at junction of Ospringe Road (B2040) with the A2 road.Pillbox (brick-skinned) built on side of public house. Appears now to be used as cellar [no access at time of visit].

An associated sniper position (TR 06 SW 1534) was identified to the west of the pillbox during archaeological investigations at the site in 2015. The structure was subsequently recorded during a building survey in 2017. (1)
