Concrete type 22 pillbox facing SE. Brick shelter built over entrance door

Pillbox [shown on German map of defences in East Kent].

A type 22,pillbox on the N bank of the Royal Military Canal at Ruckinge. Built of concrete and brick and still in good condition. Its direction is SE, and it has a brick shelter built over the entrance way.

Type FW3/22 pillbox. Entrance partly blocked. Concrete-faced. On N bank of Royal Military Canal, South of Ruckinge. (2-3)
