Pillbox has 4 embrasures and 4 steps down to doorway. It is set very low into the ground, undoubtedly silted over [probably type 24].Type 24 pillbox. 'Thick-walled'.Type 24 variant pillbox, situated in elevated position overlooking the River Medway, with field of fire S across river and valley. Brick-shuttered. Set low into the ground, and rear portion cannot be seen. with PLAN drawn on form. At Saint's Hill, on a ridge; past water works from Colliersland Bridge [part of land is private]. (1)
