Hexagonal pillbox with 3 embrasures, built into a bank. Brick built blast wall. Still has earth and grass camouflage on the roof.Four-sided pillbox, with 3 embrasures.

Type 24 variant pillbox, brick-shuttered exterior, situated adjacent to the road from Fordcombe - Penshurst. Field of fire S across River Medway valley. Pillbox set into slope of hill near track with side entrance: 3 x S facing embrasures. Saint's Hill water works, on left hand side of water works access road approaching from Saint's Hill.
