Standard type 24 shell proof pillbox (brick-shuttered).
Type 24 pillbox situated on field boundary close to a type 28, with field of fire E towards Chafford Bridge. Brick-skinned. with PLAN on form. At the junction of Kent Water and the River Medway, in the Chafford Bridge area. (1)
