Full Description

At the junction of Kent Water and the River Medway, in the Chafford Bridge area. Anti-tank gun emplacement, with gun mounting still extant. There are 2 x rifle embrasures, each with its own concrete anti-blast walls.

Standard type 24 shell proof; brick-shuttered. [Recorder Urquhart gives NGR - TQ 5512401].
