Full Description
Pillbox; no specification. DEMOLISHED in c.1960 when the Golden Valley housing estate was built. Recorder states pillbox associated with the murder of a local 16 year old boy about 1958 by a soldier from Shorncliffe Camp: Risborough Way was then a rough track.
Pillbox: demolished c.1960, but stood on a track (now Risborough Way). Pillbox [Sector 4]. Cassini ref 645551On Risborough Way leading from Shorncliffe Road to Risborough Lane, Cheriton: London - Folkestone railway passes over the road just S of the site.. (1-2)
