Type 24 pillbox, now covered with earth and with a footpath running over its roof. A face of the pillbox is still visible amongst thick vegetation. [Recorder states pillbox was covered with earth from the nearby river bank in works undertaken by the local authority, and that many local people do not know now it is there].E of Tonbridge, close to N bank of the River Medway, between Eldridges and Porters locks.
