Observation post (now a kiosk). East Cliff, Folkestone. (1)
A Second World War observation post is visible as a building on aerial photographs. The site is still extant on aerial photographs taken in 2003. The building appears to have been extended on aerial photographs taken in 2006. The site is centred on TR 25429 38464. A probably associated military building is located 37 metres to the west (Ref). This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2) (2-4).
