Full Description

On the coast W of Ramsgate.Pillbox [shown on German map of British defences]. (1)

Rectangular pillbox located seaward of Prince Edward's Promenade, Ramsgate and mapped from military aerial photographs. This structure was mapped from military aerial photographs as part of the SE Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey. It was first visible in February 1941 (1) and has been removed by May 1942 (2). It measures 4.7m by 4.5m. (2)

A Second World War pillbox is visible as a structure on RAF/26J/BR267 12 22-FEB-1941. The feature has been demolished on the latest EARTH.GOOGLE.COM 03-2022 ACCESSED 27-02-2024. (3-4)
