Full Description
Ashford - Olive-green glass drinking-cup with three rows of hollow lobes, 9.5ins high, found with skeleton and weapons. British Museum. (1)
The olive-green glass claw beaker, is fragmentary having two claws, parts of other claws and wall fragments missing. It forms part of the Roach Smith Collection and is now on loan to the Victoria and Albert Museum. (2)
TR 010425. Inhumation burial, Ashford. Before 1856 a skeleton was found with a tall clawbeaker and weapons. In Liverpool Museum. (3)
A late type of claw-beaker from an Anglo-Saxon interment of the C7th at Ashford is in the Victoria and Albert Museum, on loan from the British Museum. Accession number BM 56.7-1.5172. (4)
