Monument record TR 04 SW 19 - 6th century finds (probable burial), South Willesborough, Ashford
Summary
A 6th century buckle with a shield on the back, 6 amber beads and 4 glass beads, a bronze ring and bronze fragments were found in South Willesborough in 1844. The circumstances surrounding the discovery of these artefacts is unknown. The objects were purchased in 1893 for the Pitt Rivers Museum, Farnham, Dorset, and no further information about their present location is known.
