Full Description

Pillbox [Sector 4]. Cassini ref 576516. Hythe. (1)

The Second World War pillbox referred to above (Source 1) was not visible on the available aerial photographs viewed as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment NMP. There is perhaps a structure at TR 1376 3361, which may be a partially buried pillbox, but the resolution on the 1946 aerial photograph is not clear enough to determine this. (2)
