Pillbox [Sector 4]. Cassini ref 566501. Dymchurch. (1)
The pillbox referred to above (Source 1) was not visible on the available historical aerial photographs at the given location. However there is a possible pillbox located 50meters to the southeast at TR 1284 3200, which is likely to be the pillbox described. This pillbox was mapped as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment NMP. The pillbox was subsequently demolished after 1947. (2)
