Full Description

SE of Pegwell, Ramsgate.Pillbox [Sector 7]. Cassini ref 811819

This structure was mapped from military aerial photographs as part of the SE Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey. It was first visible and has been mapped from aerial photographs taken in February 1941 [1] and has been removed by April 1946 [2].

The visible pillbox is an irregular hexagon and measures 4.5m by 3.8m - more information regarding the location and related features can be found in record MWX43127.
