Near Ramsgate harbour.Pillbox [Sector 7]. Cassini ref 821822
This structure was mapped from military aerial photographs as part of the SE Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey.
The building measures 2m squared and was first mapped from aerial photographs taken in February 1941 [1]. The pillbox is difficult to see on later photographs, but it is definitely not apparent on the Channel Coastal Observatory's data from 2001 [2].
