Findspot record TR 04 SW 31 - Anglo Saxon glass bell beaker, Ashford

Summary

An Anglo Saxon glass bell beaker was found in Ashford. The artefact is now in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The exact circumstances and location of its discovery are uncertain: it may possibly be linked to the only Anglo Saxon burial recorded in Ashford (TR 04 SW 13). This burial reportedly contained a claw beaker, but it is uncertain if this is the same object.
