Full Description
A small excavation by Neil Aldridge found a section of Roman road close to Broad Oaks, Benenden. There were 2 adjacent road surfaces composed of slag and ironstone. The first on the north side was 4 m wide and the second at a slightly lower level was 2 m wide.(1)
