Full Description
Wall foundation made of red bricks bonded with sandy mortar (C19th date) observed. Roman and late medieval pottery recorded in the subsoil.
Individual oyster shells found in several test pits. Clinker and ash (part of 'hardcore') (Information from Geotechnical Investigations) (1).
