Summary

A tramway ran from Wouldham Rectory chalk quarry to a wharf on the river Medway. It carried chalk which was loaded onto barges. There are traces of a cast iron pipe which was used to pump slurry towards the western end. See also TQ76 NW 396 and TQ 76 NW 398
